I have a diverse background in the tech and telecommunications industry, with a strong focus on cloud services and global connectivity. My journey began over two decades ago, working in various roles that ranged from technical support to strategic management in the data centre world. Over the years, I’ve had the opportunity to collaborate with talented teams and drive innovative projects that leverage cutting-edge technology to solve complex business challenges.
Joining GCX a year ago was a strategic move for me. I was drawn to GCX by its reputation as a global player delivering robust and scalable cloud solutions, and its commitment to enhancing global digital infrastructure. A significant area of my responsibility at GCX has been the design, development, and delivery of edge / decentralised data centres. These facilities play a crucial role in reducing latency and improving performance by bringing data storage and processing close to the end users. As we prepare to launch these data centres globally, they are poised to support the increasing demand for real-time data processing, essential for applications such as IoT, AI, and advanced analytics, By integrating edge data centres into our network, we are able to offer our clients enhanced speed, reliability, and scalability, making it possible for them to innovate and compete effectively in the digital age.

We completed the design in a remarkably short period, showcasing our team’s dedication and expertise. What makes this project even more noteworthy is its modular format, which allows for rapid deployment and scalability. The modular design ensures that the data centre can be delivered within a year, meeting the growing demand for edge computing and real-time data processing with unprecedented speed and flexibility.
